There he recorded his first hit “Maybellene”, which went on to sell a million copies and reached number one on Billboard magazine’s rhythm and blues chart. Chuck Berry influenced countless numbers of young musicians including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, Elvis, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, and so many more. The music world was never the same.
